Looking for something to do while in Miami? Especially more so now during covid times, look no further I have a suggestion.
The Gary Nader Art Centre is located on NW 27 street in Wynwood. They showcase contemporary Latin American artist. The exhibits are limited to those on the 1st floor due to covid but there is more than enough to explore.
I came across the center on a jog as I was met with the statues that line the lot. Let alone the street art that lines the street and the adjacent train tracks.
As you turn to continue down the block, you immediately recognize the large grandiose Fernando Botero sculptures which great you as you enter the grounds.
It is free to enter and hours of operation are posted on Google Maps. I strolled by before having lunch at Mister O1.
There are also other artists on exhibition on the first floor that you can wander around and see.
Highly recommend strolling over to the Gary Nader Art Centre and check out the exhibits. Fernando Botero is only on display through the end of 2020. Either way it’s a fun thing to do when you’re in Wynwood.
